 Mr Mejar Singh Gill comes with an illustrious background, with years of experience, including in management and leadership roles in the Singapore Armed Forces as well as the Foreign Service. He served for 3 decades in command, staff and instructional roles in the Singapore Army, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Immediately after his military service, he switched over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he served in various staff positions at the MFA HQ as well as overseas stints in US, Indonesia, India, Nepal and Bhutan. His extensive experience and familiarity with the local system, international relations and cross-cultural dynamics attests to his leadership prowess and commitment to service.
